CANCELLATION POLICY

GENERAL POLICIES: • A card on file is required to reserve your appointment. Your card will not be charged unless services are completed or a cancellation/no-show fee applies. • Payment is due at the completion of the service. Completed services are non-refundable. Please communicate any concerns during your appointment. Any service concerns will be addressed according to the 48-hr Adjustment Policy. • All forms and waivers must be completed before appts are approved. • Book the correct service and all needed add-ons. Service changes are not guaranteed and may require rescheduling if enough time is not reserved. • CANCELLATIONS OR RESCHEDULING: Less than 24hr notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service total. • NO-SHOWS: Will be charged 100% of the scheduled service total. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may require prepayment in full or may result in refusal of future bookings. • Arriving 15+ minutes late may result in a shortened or rescheduled service. If I have not heard from you within 15mins of your appt time, it may be marked as a No-Show and charged 100%. • ILLNESS POLICY: Please reschedule if you are experiencing contagious symptoms. Cancellations made with less than 24-hrs notice remain subject to the cancellation policy. Failure to contact me before the appt will be treated as a No Show. • GUEST POLICY: Appts are reserved for the client receiving the service. Do not bring extra guests or unattended children. • CHILDREN: Under 18 booked for a service must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who remains present throughout the service. Children’s pricing is available for clients 12 and under. Clients ages 13–15 may book full-priced traditional-polish services. Gel polish and artificial enhancements are available beginning at age 16. • Disclose all allergies, sensitivities, medications, and nail/skin concerns before your service through the provided forms. Services may be modified, postponed, or declined if there are signs of infection, open wounds, severe irritation, or a condition outside of my professional scope. Please do not shave your legs the day of your pedicure service. • EXISTING PRODUCT: I do not fill, rebalance, or repair product applied by another nail professional. Product not applied by me must be removed before the new service. - Add Existing Product Removal when booking or choose a New Client service if you are new to my table. If removal was not reserved, there may not be enough time to complete your service. Your appt will be rescheduled, and the applicable same-day cancellation fee will apply. • 48-hr ADJUSTMENT POLICY: Contact me within 48hrs of your appt with a clear picture, if you experience product lifting or chipping. Complimentary corrections are limited to product-related issues and scheduled at my earliest available opening. - Damage caused by impact, pressure, picking, prying, biting, improper aftercare, or use of nails as tools is not complimentary. Traditional polish is not covered by this policy. • CONSENT & LIABILITY: By booking, you confirm that the information you provided is accurate, consent to the selected service(s), and understand that product wear may vary based on nail condition, type, lifestyle, maintenance, and aftercare. • Booking an appointment with Refined Nails with Caroline means you have read, accept, and agree to these policies.
